ONION PAKORA RECIPE- MUST TRY

Hi today i am sharing one of my most favorite snack Onion Pakora or aka Kanda Bhaji.The word “bhajia” means fritter .Especially in rainy season we indians like to have hot hot bhajis. Ok lets look in to the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Onion sliced thinly
  • ½ cup of gram flour/besan
  • 1 teaspoon hot oil
  • Pinch of cooking soda
  • 1/2 tspn Chilli Powder
  • Coriander Leaves
  • 1/2 tspn Ajwain also known as carom
  • salt or add as per taste
  • oil for deep frying

HOW TO PREPARE:

  • First slice the onions thinly put it in bowl
  • Add 1/2 cup or required amount of Besan or gram flour
  • Add Pinch of cooking soda
  • Add 1/2 tspn of hot oil
  • Add 1/2 tspn Chilli Powder
  • Add Little Coriander nicely sliced
  • Add 1/2 tspn Ajwain or Carom
  • Add 1/2 tspn Salt or as per taste
  • Mix everything well keep it for 5 minutes, dont add water as onion leaves moisture, if mixture looks too thin add little bit of gram flour
  • Heat oil in pan and leave the mixture little by little in oil and fry till it turns in to golden brown serve it with Green Chutney or Tomato Ketchup
