BESAN LADDOO RECIPE- AUTHENTIC INDIAN SWEET

As the most beautiful festival Diwali is coming I thought of writing the yummy recipe of Besan Laddoo , Laddoos are ball shaped sweets from Indian cuisine and are made for most festivals and for other celebrations. These are made from chickpea flour, sugar , ghee and nuts. Its a very simple recipe. Follow these simple steps and make these laddoos …i bet you will love these.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 CUPS OF BESAN OR CHICKPEA FLOUR
  • 1 CUP GHEE
  • 2 CUPS POWDERED SUGAR
  • 1/4 CUP POWDERED ALMONDS
  • 1/2 tspn CARDAMOM POWDER

HOW TO PREPARE:

1.Heat the in a deep non stick pan, add besan, mix well and cook on a medium flame until you get nice smell and it turns in to golden red it will take nearly 12 minutes, keep on stirring.

2.Transfer the mixture into a plate and keep aside to cool

3.Add sugar, coarsely powdered almonds , cardamom powder and mix well while rubbing the mixture in between your palms till it gets a crumbly texture.

4.Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a round laddoo.

Make as many laddos as possible.
